The humanity that Lupita brings to the film - completely unexpected in the horror genre but is masterful. Also that cat is absolutely fantastic! I was less focused on the plot and the ending, and more on the journey. If you are looking for something different with lots of nuances, this may be a hit for you. If you are looking for a slashes movie, this one is probably lost on you. It kept on giving me horror-drama vibes, niche.
