Wow! One of a kind. Like an 8 hours long movie rather than a series. Every episode adds to the progression. It's so interesting for a myth than seemed more or less stale. I would really like this to be the direction of the new Star Wars movies and series. Most probably it won't. Let's hope at least it's not a one off. Great acting too. I love it!

Start trek discover your feelings, then discover your feelings again and again and again. Discover your feelings when the world is ending, when you are in a mission to save it, when the clock is ticking, when your ship is burning, when your shields are at 5% and dropping. There is never a bad time to discover your feelings, never a bad time to discover you crush, to make your advances, to celebrate your sexuality, to share your inner thoughts and the events that scared you for life. What is life if you can't share your fragility, make your group hugs even if Earth is about to be destroyed in 5 hours. A Star trek for some other audience than the original fans some of whom are already in their 60s and not getting any younger. Unfortunately not for me, already in my 50s in a rapidly changing world. Maybe that's the future. Who said it will be nice.. I hate it!

Difficult to understand for someone not familiar with the reality of Greek (or Italian or Israeli) overprotective families, pushed to the extreme. No escape, nowhere to run. At best you end up in your family's car trunk.
