On the plus side, I liked the premise and there were some fabulous characters in this series wonderfully portrayed by the. cast members. There was very definite tension and suspense.However, and it’s a big however. The sprinkling of poetic license and occasional plot holes that are unavoidable in such stories weren’t sprinklings and weren’t occasional. A real shame as with a little bit more care and diligence this could have been an absolute winner

The director of this film is obviously a big fan of using pregnant poses for dramatic effect. He flogged this approach to death. I actually think the film could’ve been 45 minutes shorter without them. Apart from that it’s a reasonable watch, the lead character has a really good voice, and worth watching just for his songs alone . I’ll be interested to know if anybody else watching this thinks that the mother character looks like she was created by CGI.
