T. Mangin (Nea)

I love Betty and hate she’s gone. All of the actors on the show are amazing. I loved One Day At a Time, Golden Girls, and Frasier. I love that they laugh in the middle of a scene and it’s a real laugh. The show is so funny. It was nice to watch the episodes again. All the guests popping in are real classics. Some of my favs. Don’t watch the show if you hate to laugh.

I kept expecting someone to get on some else’s shoulders to form a way to climb up instead of them dragging it out but then that would have been a short movie. For some reason I thought there would be sharks. The baby was super cute. I found myself feeling bad for the baby the whole time and that’s about it. At the same time they could have not had a baby at all in the movie and that could have been better.

A prime example of trying to create a clever plot twist and it ends up being the downfall of a movie. It doesn’t start off bad; however, it quickly becomes frustrating. From the insecure boyfriends antics, the corrupt cop etc. I get he lived for his sister, and I get creating a false narrative to be able to live with his actions. Any romantic interaction between the adopted mother and brother were unnecessary and distasteful. It would make sense that once his sister told him the truth that left him feeling as though he had nothing left. Why not have the adopted mother go with the sister and once he’s alone have him jump? Why does it look as if he jumped, but then as if he’s still standing there? The ending was overthought and underwhelming which left me as a viewer feeling I just wasted my time.

This show will make you feel a range of emotions. Very well written. The cast feels like a real family.
