Don't really understand all the good reviews. I found this movie boring and unable to keep my attention. Thank god I waited until it went to streaming because nowadays these movies are so jacked up in marketing that they really can disappoint. Visuals were great, plot was slow to say the least. I feel like the people giving the good reviews like the Dracula genre so much that the movies could literally be one set, low production and they would rave about it. I love gothic, vampire movies, but I'll call a dud as I see it. This was a hard one to get through and I thought about turning it off every 5 minutes in the last half. I was very excited about this movie. Soooooo disappointing. The 2nd star was for visuals, that's it.
