A remarkable book. One of the best I have read in a very long time. Highly recommended, quite different to others he has written.

Challenging!! A good story spoiled. Annoying, irritating and very hard work. I am surprised that a good editor didn't veto and delete the online chat sections which I came to dred. Oh Jo Ro how could you punish your loyal readers this way. Have loved everything you have previously written. Please don't ever resort to this format again. I found it even more annoying than the technique of jumping backwards and forwards in different decades that Kate Atkinson employed in some of her books. On the plus side it made for a very long read and I still have three hundred pages to work through so I haven't had to get something else to read.
