as a long time fan of the Resident Evil franchise, I enjoyed the movie it more close to the games than the Anderson films combined. The cast deliverance was awesome, the horror and action scenes were choreographed well and the way the movie upholded the Resident Evil aesthetics was pretty good.
The" RE fans" who would hate rant on the movie, are the toxic gatekeeping purists of the RE fanbase,. their complaints are like " where is Leon's Maltida pistol?" like man who cares? next thing they will complain about the toilet paper in the RPD bathroom being on the wrong wall .
