The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes was an astonishing movie. I love the story, and it was very engaging and I never felt bored while watching. I love the character development of Coriolanus through his experiences and the influences from other characters. I also like how the movie portrayed the message of power and corruption through the main characters, and how Dr. Gaul was behind it all. My only complaint is how rushed it felt even though it was a 3-hour movie. Some scenes had very little detail and the transitions from one scene to another were poorly timed. Also, the movie was not book-accurate, and many significant events from the book were absent from the film. If you're not familiar with the Hunger Games stories, you might have difficulty trying to comprehend the events. But overall, I really enjoyed the movie and I highly recommend it.
