I.... wow. This movie was magnificent, two years ahead of BLM for George Floyd and the similarities were uncanny. The lighting between Garden Heights and Williams, warm and cool, was amazing from a film geek POV but the story, just wow. This subject needs to be touched on and the way it was in this movie was magnificent, empowering, bold, and just a great work of art. Iโm not black but I am brown, Mexican heritage. Iโve had my fair share of things like these but this movie conveyed everything. They spoke for me. I wouldnโt change anything about this film.
