Tom Brainerd

It's a movie. It's neither a bad movie nor a great movie. It's just ...a movie. It is a fairly well-crafted movie, but the good crafting is a bit on-the-nose for later developments. The soundtrack is good, and leverages layering in dialogue slammed through a full effects rack for fantastic effect. I like it, but it's kinda on-the-nose. "On-the-nose" is a theme here. The - look, I don't count my time in the theater wasted. This is a movie worth seeing. It is also not a movie worth including in the Pantheon. It gets three stars.
