The book is amazing! Mr. Baldwin really spoke truth! I remember hearing stories that my great great grandfather told me about how “America” was back in the day. Mr. Baldwin told us how America dealt with black people. I know it was hard then, and it’s hard now. The 3 pillars that lost their lives was an eye opener to Mr. Baldwin and he knew had to return home to do something. I wish today that we stand and fight for what is right. The right and fair equality for all mankind. America must do what they say on paper and hold true to the promises. We cannot be sellouts, but creators and the ones to keep things right and to make sure that all Americans have a right to the “American Dream!” -W.T. Walker
