This is very well researched and focused,. It does not engage in the typical rumours that made Crowley so much larger than the (Already a giant personæ) man he was. It is refreshing take on a personality that one might have thought had beef biographie to death.

Very handy book for the perpetually curious. 5 star 🐞

It’s hard to write about this book in the same way one would critique any other . There are very few sections of prose or poetry to review. It is a book of charts, tables, alphabets, glyphs & graphs explaining and corresponding to the Qaballah & both its practical & ethereal applications. There is no other book as thorough and expansive than this. There is no harm in owning the book as you may pretty much open it to any page and get some information that’s worth having. As one progresses in their studies and initiations they will find 777 indispensable.

This was a very good B Movie That would need to be a B. movie their subtlety that they take a few runs through to catch, but then the generic world where they label on the counter can simply says “food”, Cigarettes say “Cigarettes”. It really represents the pioneering. Independent “don’t need no frames” Art environment that was being created by the punk movement. The soundtrack is excellent and takes some bands out of their element and puts them into some perfect space. If you haven’t, see the movie first. it really helps. Get the soundtrack if you can or listen to the songs in sequence online. the soundtrack is good, filming is good, The settings are good and the story is good. I re-watched it for the first time in over a decade and enjoyed it thoroughly. If west coast American Punk music could be captured in an Alien fiction film, it’s this 🐞

This isn’t an artist that simply “wings it” artistically in any aspect, visually or sonically, of their releases. What they’ve done to date is uncompromising and uniquely visionary. This album is no exception. Lung Fish is an artist that has had its coils tightened around their corner of the underground for a long time. Tough luck for the MOR Underground. It’s been right there. I guess one has to know what they are looking for to have any chance of finding it

Absolutely essential to any Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds fan’s collection. Tender Prey is where an ( already steller) Bad Seeds lay down the map for their future direction Opening with that masterpiece of rhythmic, melodic and lyrical art “Mercy Seat” brings it in heavy from the get-go This piece of work draws in the head of a man in the electric chair, sensitivity to everything around and his, suspiciously varying, declarations of innocence or honesty. “ …hooked bone rising from my food” The 2 EP full album is a Different sort of trip into the darkness. It’s dynamic, it’s laid out in a way that makes perfect sense. Similar to a lot of other audio classics it is made to listen from the start to the finish not just jumping in there higgledy piggledy anywhere you want to… unless you are a DJ playing a particular cut on radio show; listening to this one in the wrong order is a crime in some countries (joking). 🐞

This is my favourite Ronstadt Lp. Much of that has to do with her cover of an obscure Elvis Costello B-Side “Girls Talk”. Whoever chose her material around that time hopefully got an award
