Like a lot of new "series" shows on TV, this one had a great 1st season and a very disappointing 2nd season. The writing and directing fell off sharply as they didn't seem to have an agenda, some episodes felt like they were just hoping to get through it and live to see another day (and another pay check). I wish more productions would take a cue from the folks at Queen's Gambit - tell the story and move on to another, quit trying to squeeze every last dollar out of a few Emmy wins.
