The Substance doesn't have a lot of what its title implies but that didn't stop me from enjoying it. Demi Moore was outstanding amidst a cast of mostly clunky, empty characters. Cinematography and SFX were fantastic. The film derailed in the the last quarter but it's still an experience you'll never (even if you want to) forget.
