I really didn't enjoy this movie at all. The plot was incredibly confusing and difficult to follow, leaving me clueless about what was happening at various points. I had hoped that the ending would answer the main question I had throughout the movie, but it was disappointing and failed to provide any satisfying explanations.
The unclear plot made it seem like the main character's purpose was to make people see the world, which resulted in their deaths. I couldn't understand why he could see the creature without dying, while everyone else in the world would perish if they saw it. The lack of clarification regarding the protagonist's special ability was frustrating and remained unexplained even after the movie's conclusion.
Another issue with the film was that it felt like a cheap imitation of the original version, just presented in a different language. The dubbing was unconvincing, and it made little sense to alter the original movie for what felt like a poor spinoff. The similarity in the beginning scenes further reinforced the impression that this was a subpar version with a weak storyline.
The ending seemed nonsensical and failed to tie up loose ends, leaving me with even more unanswered questions. While the original movie explained the existence of a safe place for blind individuals, this movie introduced an army camp and lab, which made little sense considering the circumstances. Once again, the movie neglected to provide any clarity on the main character's unique ability to see the creature while others couldn't.
The cast was another letdown. Unlike the exceptional performances in the original movie, this version lacked any standout actors and had an ordinary, if not subpar, cast. Incorporating more well-known actors could have potentially improved the overall experience.
In conclusion, I strongly advise against watching this movie and suggest opting for the original "Bird Box" instead. This version feels like a cheap imitation with a lackluster cast and a confusing plot, making it an unenjoyable experience overall. Save yourself the 110 minutes and find a better movie to watch instead.
