These myths of Israeli and Palestinian macho are self serving and perpetuate stereotypes which are insulting and harmful to Israelis and Palestinian men and women. Thought the film would be cute but I was truly appalled and disgusted . This is a horrible movie about terribly shallow, privileged, superficial and selfish teenagers and families. There is not one meaningful or redeeming character or message, no depiction or representation of any meaningful religious or cultural values. Entirely spoiled and materialistic kids with no compassion for others and awful parenting. I think this movie reflects everything that is wrong with contemporary American Jewishness. I am horrified.
