I loved this movie. The acting is superlative with great chemistry between Andrew and Florence. I very much liked the non linear story telling . It added to the drama. I was surprised by the nudity since the MeToo movement has for quite a while eliminated female nudity. I assume Florence has a different take on nudity now which is her decision. Being a 71 year old psychologist I was disappointed that Nick Payne seems to still unfortunately for him, to be stuck in his processing of his own father’s death. I think the movie would have been better and more dramatic if Florence had been allowed to live. I believe people do survive cancer and the family could have continued their love affair with that survival. On the other hand writers and people cannot know what they do not know and writers write what they are stuck in in their own lives.

What an eminently childish view of life and marriage. A few moments of chemistry and not knowing anything about the other and they spend years longing for and holding back from real relationships. The hesitation in current relationships is due to this childish fantasy. Good luck. Interesting the other theme of the movie is if you neglect working on your relationship it will die as happened with kusacks best friend. His friend goes on to realize work is needed and returns to his wife.
