Saw the movie on day 1. The message the movie gave made me feel like I should throw up. The Script and the Message the movie infers is a bane to the society’s cultural direction. 1. Honor killing is bad agreed but does it justify demeaning marriage’s sacredness? 2. Movie justifies desires can override morality? So doesn’t it mean that Infidelity is normal and an ok thing. The plus of the movie: 1. Entertainment - cringey scenes from beginning to end. If you love cringe you’ll love this film 2. Frankly, I felt the acting of all actors was good 👍, but either their choice of movie script or their moral compass is really bad. 3. Songs, Music and BGM made the film really popular it is very catchy. 4. The movie reminds us what is happening in Indian judiciary as definition of freedom, where adultery is legal and infidelity is not punishable in anyway. So, marriage is essentially meaningless except to extort money from the affected party when things go awry is the norm. 5. Shows the current state of mind of the younger generation where freedom crosses all boundaries and no sense of ethics or values remain, when there is no one to uphold the principles and values of our sacred institutions. Then such things are bound to happen. This movie shows exactly that, 6.When a person doesn’t care at all about the impacts of their actions to the society, forgets the people around them and their own family. Forgetting their impact on their own kids. Living in the moment takes highest priority then. Yes this is what happens. 7. Side affects of YOLO, LITM, No regrets

Om’s view of Ramayana, high tempo, emotional connection and character building should have been focused more. I understand all the Indian audiences are supposed to know the story but, as a director there needs to be a justification why such a character is as such. It could have been more pleasurable to watch but, either way Rama Rama name itself is legendary I didn’t understand why was there a need to shy away from using the name as is. When showing mythical power why to stop at simple powers why not go all out. Would have loved it more if the actual dialogues from Valmiki Ramayanam had been taken. I feel a different perspective of Ramayana has been shown the one which may be northern states relate more to. But that is not the way I have been thought about Ramayana from my mother. Ramayanam a raw version as is version of Valmiki Ramayanam is much more gruesome in some places may be for regular audiences they cannot take it. But, all in all kudos for a great attempt at Ramayana. Hoping many more legendary movies on scriptures and Puranas show up in the future. The need for creative minds is here in Indian cinema.
