Pinker has earned a high reputation with his expertise in linguistics and other areas. He is not an expert on the environment or population bbHe risks his reputation with this rather sad and very political book. Lately he has involved himself in right wing political causes such as FAIR an anti-woke political organization. He should stay with what he knows. He had not done himself a favor with this book.
