Not a movie with a predictable ending. Thereโs definitely some loose ends, but enough clues
to give most people a satisfying ending. The messages are there, and the boy knows who he
can trust and where heโs heading next.... back to his father in America. He knows full well where
to find Macho and Mike (Eastwood) again if that is whatโs needed. And as far as Eastwoodโs love
interest, thereโs no mistaking that Eastwood has found a place to hang his hat and intends to
leave his past in the past.
I do have a feeling that the main character (the boy) was played very natural in the movie and not over done....
very low key and natural. Also, thereโs just enough music at the right point to add to the appeal of the movie
and not interfering with critical dialogue. This has always been one of my pet peeves.
Hopefully, this will not be Eastwoodโs last movie.
