One of my all time favourite movies! I vividly recall sitting at the drive-in as a teen, surrounded by gangs. Fun times.

When The Karate Kid came out in '84 I was running two martial arts clubs, so for me and my members going to see it was a given. Decades later, what a thrill to see the franchise revived! How it should be, delving into the main characters (not remakes). I eagerly awaited its arrival on DVD, after a friend informed me about it. I binge watched season 1 in a day! I love how in-depth they go into the characters, and each episode leaves you eager to move onto the next. Just before Christmas I got season 2, which I also "ate up" in a day. Then the unexpected happened...the cliff hanger, there's a season 3!! Now I patiently await its release. I prefer "owning" something, so I'll buy it on DVD.This is so well thought out, filling in many questions left over from the movies. I'm keen to see how the series pans out, and no doubt it'll be a monumental void when it's all done and dusted.
