Clair Snow

This is an amazing drama with lots of depth and meaning, phenomenal character development, great acting, magical music (but very subpar special effects... which I totally forgive given how awesome everything else is). It was my first c drama and oh boy, I was so close to missing out on it. The first time I tried watching it, I switched off after about 5 minutes. My second impression was no better and honestly, the only reason I persevered, was to see how much worse it could get (especially the first two episodes which are now among my favorites LOL). To truly appreciate the story and all the connections and parallels: good vs evil, intentions vs consequences, free will ( or the lack of it), the “double-edge sword” nature of personal relationships, nature vs nurture, effects of trauma, group and power dynamics ...and of course, the internal journeys of all the characters ( none of whom are marginal) - requires more than one viewing imho (reading the novel would also help a lot). My heart never broke so badly over fictional characters 😭😭😭 but still I am grateful that I got exposed to such a beautiful and nuanced story.
