Weak first half and slow screen play. Kangana's personality doesn't suit for such roles. I felt that I am watching a TV serial rather than a movie. Sequence of historical events was not told in a convincing manner. However the war scenes that come in second half are a bit relief and the film will start engaging the audience from there. Conclusion is a weak conclusion. Overall to say, this movie is above TV serial and below feature film standards. Few people get too much recognition and praise even though they do not deserve that much and Kangana is one such example. Changing the director in the middle indicates her over confidence and arrogance. Only Kangana was visible in every frame and the rani Laxmi Bai no where.Not a single wow moment in this historical movie where scope for creating goosebump moments is very high in such movies. Overall rating 2/5. Again the 2 rating is due to the war scenes in this movie
