Tarkov is brutal. Casuals need not apply. 99.5% chance it wasn't a hacker and you just got smoked. Some rotten dweebs may even be running a silencer and thermal scope on there rifle. Footsteps too loud? It's because you just started noob. You level up your sneaking and get quieter until your ninja quiet. No hit rego, 30 rounds to the guts and did 7 damage? His armour rules and your ammo sucks. I just spawned and got blown instantly from nowhere. Veterans know the spawns and could possibly contest you very quickly and sift your corpse for the juicy loot. This game is too deep for many and the curve to steep. Personally I love it
