Excellent potrayal of late in life man suffering his genius against the reality of deep deoression. He was simply over powered by life, which to an outsider would have been near perfect since his audiences loved him for his musical piano gifts. Yet his profound lonliness, lifted on occasion by a bright light (Katie Holmes), sank into the pit when she was killed in an accident.. Beautiful music, spectacular scenary.
