Ill start by saying this about Ready or Not. This is a SWAT simulation and its brutal. It is not fast paced in the traditional sense. Though the situations you will find yourself in with your team will test your reflexes and situational awareness. Split second decisions are needed and it puts you in the shoes of a law enforcement officer with these situations. For instance I'm raiding an apartment complex and I see a man reach behind him and pull something out and point it at me. I shot him but it turns out it was a civilian pulling out his cell phone to take a picture. It gives me a sense of what a SWAT team deals with and how a seemingly harmless motion can be perceived as a threat.
The Graphics are decent enough with character models....looking terrifyingly bad. The violence is realistic with plenty of blood and gore. The thing that may bother some people is the content as this includes realistic hostage situations, drug use/creation, prostitution, home invasion, suicide bombers and human trafficking. This game explores some dark topics but that makes it more realistic.
The gameplay is solid and while slower it is definitely intense. The devs really did their homework on this one. If you are looking for a more realistic experience look no further. Rainbow Six needs to take notes on how a SWAT sim works.
