Nielsen phu strikes me as a man good at math and some tests but not much more. Hes explanations are trash for so much of the math textbook. He does not explain things that ought to be explained because he likely thinks people think on his plane of mathematical thought. The material is decent if you have a proper grasp and you want to review but not much more.
