I have been watching movies for the last 65 years. It seems the movie critics go out of their way to find flaws in an otherwise very pleasant, well made, brilliantly acted movie, brilliantly told the story of a father and son. It is the audience who decides whether a film is good, bad or ugly. With 4.9/5.0, rating by the audience, I don't really care much what the critics say. I loved "In pursuit of Happyness"

After a long, long time, a fresh, clean and hilarious comedy. Each actor contributed to the film's success!. Sureka (Dadi) is simply superb!!

Meghe Dhaka Tara s a brilliant portrayal of the life, pain, love and struggle of a Bengali middle class. The direction is incomparable. The actors are superb. The cinematography is breathtaking! It is easily at par with the best of films of the world, including Pather Panchali.Alas, we could not see at his full creative genus because of his addiction to alcohol. Heaven knows what he could give us had he not become an alcoholic! But even then, he was a versatile genius!.

I always love Kaushik Ganguly's movies. He always a great story teller and an actor. His narration will always touch your heart, no matter be it "Bisharjan" or "Shankar Mudi". In this movie, "Chotoder Chobi" he has shown his directorial mettle working with actors who are socially outcast (dwarfs). It took great courage and compassion to make this movie. My hats off to Kaushikda. My gratitude is also goes to the Mohtas of SVF for giving us this beautiful movie.
