This game builds upon the fantastic story delivered by the first one. Rather than a story of hope, it is one of forgiveness. It asks how far will you go for revenge and forgiveness. The gameplay is very similar to the first, not that there were any complaints with the gameplay, but it does build on the combat. I finished my first playthrough feeling utterly exhausted and empty, which I think is what the game developers were hoping for. I finished my second playthrough so emotional. This, and the first game, are absolute must plays!

I loved the film, it successfully retcons some of the more damaging elements of TLJ, it fleshes out Kylo and Rey's characters a lot more and Rey finally feels less Mary Sue-ish. I don't know why it's receiving as much criticism.
