One of the best books I've read. Not just out of the YA Genre. One of THEE best fantasy settings. Leigh Bardugo is a hell of an author, intricately crafting her world with care. The characters are absolutely to die for. It's been 3 years since I first read these books and I find myself revisiting it and finding something new out of it whenever I reread it.

the book too me a while—like 1/4 of the way through to not feel like I wasn’t slogging myself through mud and forcing myself to read it. After you get over that however, it sucks you in and is an spectacular book *chef’s kiss*
