I was really impressed by the show, I binged it in one go. I think that the show moved between the story of CK's boyhood and the critical race theory sections very smoothly. The lessons felt very natural and unforced because they lined up with the stories told in the episodes naturally
I feel like a lot of black media leans on the same 5 stories (Rosa Parks, Ruby Bridges MLK etc) Something I really liked was that in the CRT sections they told stories that are obscure and I actually learned new thinsg not just like a repeat.
I really liked the kid they got to play baby CK really all of the actors were good. I would love to see CK host more shows on Netflix in the vein of Henry Louis Gate's "Ancient African Civilizations" with more educational content about teh black experience and black contributions to society.
