Obviously the worst Ice Age movie to date, but also possibly the worst movie I’ve ever seen. The recasts didn’t match their characters (especially confusing is why they had to recast Sid when Disney already had John Leguizamo for Encanto), the terrible animation (why Pixar wasn’t involved, nobody knows), and all this blabber about how important family is, yet no mention of Peaches and Julien, Shira, or any of the other herd members whatsoever. I can’t even consider this to be canon to the other Ice Age movies. Don’t waste your time with this movie.

I might be the biggest Marvel movie fan out there… and although this movie was mostly good, I’m giving it a one star rating for mostly one thing, and it was only about 20 seconds long: the sex scene. Never did I think that Marvel would resort to such low standards. The MCU is supposed to be a family friendly ensemble of movies that are fun for everyone to watch. I blame one person: director Chloé Zhao. This movie had SO much potential, and she ruined it. It was completely unnecessary, and though it was short, it made both me and my girlfriend very uncomfortable. Don’t get me wrong, there were some good fight scenes, the CGI was incredible, and it was overall pleasant to watch, I have some complaints. Aside from the sex scene, it was hard to follow at times, with all the flashback scenes. Some of them were unnecessary, and others were inserted randomly into the storyline where they didn’t make any sense. SPOILER ALERT: Ajak and Gilgamesh should not have died so quickly. They should have given them more screen time; they were two of my favorite characters, and then POOF. They were gone. Also, the bad guys didn’t have much screen time either. Another complaint I have is that there was too much talking, and not enough doing. The movie was about 30-45 minutes too long, and a lot of dialogue could have simply been cut right out. Lastly, WE GET IT! YOU DIDN’T INTERFERE! NOW SHUT UP AND GET ON WITH IT!
