I'd never heard of this movie, but I was excited when I saw the cast. Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Maya Rudolph, and Rachel Dratch? I just knew this was going to be so hilarious that my ribs would be in pain from laughing.
Let me say, this movie was proof for me that one should never judge a book, or movie, by it's cover.
While there were some occasional chuckles, I was disappointed. It seems like it was supposed to be a grown woman buddy dramedy, but it missed the mark for me. It was more like six woman who are "friends" in the gossiping behind each others backs and not being totally honest with each other sense.
While that is true for some people, and with a different plot, may have worked as a truly funny movie, I just fill like this was a bit of a let down for me. I say that because I was hoping for way more humor from the cast than I got. It wasn't a horrible movie, but it's also not a must rewatch one either.
