I'd never heard of this movie, but I was excited when I saw the cast. Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Maya Rudolph, and Rachel Dratch? I just knew this was going to be so hilarious that my ribs would be in pain from laughing. Let me say, this movie was proof for me that one should never judge a book, or movie, by it's cover. While there were some occasional chuckles, I was disappointed. It seems like it was supposed to be a grown woman buddy dramedy, but it missed the mark for me. It was more like six woman who are "friends" in the gossiping behind each others backs and not being totally honest with each other sense. While that is true for some people, and with a different plot, may have worked as a truly funny movie, I just fill like this was a bit of a let down for me. I say that because I was hoping for way more humor from the cast than I got. It wasn't a horrible movie, but it's also not a must rewatch one either.

I only stumbled on Hallmark Mysteries a little over a year ago when I caught the ending of an Aurora Teagarden mystery when my DVR started recording for Murder She Wrote early. I've been hooked ever since and have a healthy list of favorites, some of which have since been canceled. But Aurora Teagarden is one of my favorites! I love that her character is resourceful and strong-willed, not a damsel in distress. And Roe and Nick are officially one of my favorite detecting couples! But I can't leave out Roe's bff Sally and the real murders club. Each of these characters pull you in and you'll want to solve mysteries right alongside them.

I'm so glad that I stumbled on Mystery 101! Professor Amy Winslow and Detective Travis Burke are a true dream team. Both the actors and the characters! I love Amy and Travis! I feel like I know them personally! I also love Graham and Bud! Every movie is packed with intrigue. Each time I re-watch it just confirms that I need more Mystery 101! Especially after that ( unacceptable) ending we got in episode 7, which for now, I just pretend didn't happen.

I absolutely love this show! I've been hooked since the first episode. Matilda Stone and her aunts (Jane, Beth, and Cat) are all equally smart and resourceful. It's comedic watching Matilda's loving aunts doing their own detecting to help their niece crack her cases and working to keep the truth of Matilda's personal mystery just that. A mystery. I love every character and I need more Queens of Mystery!

A few years ago I stumbled upon this show. I don't know how and don't remember exactly when, but I'm genuinely obsessed. I can't even remember life before MST3K. Those dreary B movies are suddenly A+ certified entertainment entertainment! (Trust me, I've tried watching some of the films without commentary and it's not the same)
