Angus here,Ingrid's husband. Ingrid said if I get bored on holiday I might enjoy this book. My son said that if I as a school drop out put as much attention on my school work as I did in reading this book I would have passed with flying colours! I must say Robyn you are about the most talented writer i have read. From the moment I started I couldn't put it down. I am not a great reader but I almost spoiled the holiday as I had my nose to the book from the first to last page which was the last day of the holiday.! Would liked to seen some pictures of the family this would be my only criticism. I must add that i could relate to this as I was brought up in Rhodesia where our first farm had similar circumstances - .may have even been a bit more basic. No water or buildings etc. not to mention other basics that we take for granted these days like telephones and TV. Definitely a 5 star read. Well done Robyn.
