I really enjoyed the first episode and I think it has a real shot. I look forward to the way that the dynamic develops within this family. it'll be interesting to see how the Mom responds to the developing bond between Georgie and his father- in law. They didn't make her into a typical complete mean spirited meddling mother in law. You see there is a genuine love and concern for her daughter. Also , despite her issues with Georgie there is a developing but grudging respect. Getting back to Georgie and his father- in law, the bond is so tender and realistic. It will be interesting as they draw closer how it affects Mandy's Mom. There is a lot of comic gold to be mined there. Georgie and Mandy's chemistry is spot on and a joy to behold. They actually seem like a really young couple that are in love and determined to make it work despite the odds against it. It was wonderful to see the " Young Sheldon" family there as well. It adds a real familiarity and eased the introductory episode for transition . It has real heart and I am confident that the comedy aspect will grow too. I will be watching regularly .

The acting is excellent and the chemistry has gotten better as the season has progressed.

I missed the first episode but the second one had some good laughs and a lot of heart. I recorded it because my wife liked " Mike and Molly but I'm going to give it shot too. There are not many good comedies on network television. I hope this is one.
