The movie was okay. I kept waiting for explanations. Waiting for action to happen. Instead this is a more realistic approach to the idea - "what if we lost electricity, and all contact." The characters experience loss, confusion, anger, frustration and wind up learning to work together and depend on each other. There are other things they should have learned - like a way to defend themselves after the rape scene that you somehow knew would occur. Also - if a roof leaks, you fix it. You don't just keep on letting it leak. However, the girls are pretty young and maybe they didn't really think along those lines yet. The end leaves you with the idea that they are just starting this journey....and no answers. Not a bad movie, but I somehow want more...more closure...more information...something.
