This movie is absolutely atrocious. How could any of the professionals who made this decide it was good. The plot is stupid and none of the characters are likeable at all, and none of the jokes are funny. This is not only the worst Christmas movie I have ever seen but it is also one if the worst movies I have ever seen. If I could give this movie a negative star review I would. This movie is so bad that they give serial killers two punishment options, either die or watch Christmas With The Kranks. If you have never heard of this punishment option, that is because everybody has chosen death.

How could John Hughes, the greatest filmmaker of all time make such an awful movie? It has absolutely nothing to do with the first movie except that a kid (who is a different character, and is actually extremely unlikeable) sets traps (which are not well thought out or funny) for robbers.(who, unlike Harry and Marv, are given no character at all.) This movie is stupid. They should have stopped at the first Home Alone instead of continuously ruining a good movie.

A nice, funny film I watch every year. Overrated? Yes. Still good? Yes.
