Despite what critics say, in my opinion I felt it was a masterpiece worthy of praise to its core. I was awestruck by the performances and ambiance of both the tone and the score of this film. This is a film, a form of art. Which should be respected. It takes quite a few jabs at society today in several deep realistic tones, whether it be the way that wealth is what controls the way we think, or the mental health system. This is an adult film and I think we as adults should understand and respect that. amidst the controversy, I would say definitely watch this film and lay your own opinion before taking someone else's word for it. This is a higher mind type of film many will not understand it in my opinion.

Absolutely Amazing, visually stunning with superb lighting and setting. First adaptation to stay nearly 100% to the source material. Two decades of waiting was worth it for this masterpiece. 6/5 11/10. Also, this is taken from the manga ''And'' original movie for anyone who may have questions regarding timelines. Also wanted to add that the first thing my girlfriend said when we left was did she look like a praying mantis to you? Just thoughts that was hilarious since we're both fans of the source as well.
