I fell in love with Alessandro & enjoyed reading about his life experiences. I actually grieved when the story ended. Mark Helprin is a marvelous writer & Iโm so grateful that he brought Alessandro to life. What a beautiful life it was! This book has stayed with me for many years & I re-read it every few years so that I can dive back into the very vivid world that Mark Helprin painted with words. You wonโt be disappointed.

This is a wonderful love story for all ages. Tugs at your heartstrings, for sure. Bring Kleenex! The acting was off the charts! Canโt wait for it to come out on dvd. โบ๏ธ
