*Spoiler alert* I think the mum is awful: 1. Had an affair 2. Did not tell Alex about her biological father before she died and left her ex husband the responsibility post death to tell Alex and if he didn't tell the burden of keeping the secret. Also allowed the children to think the dad left her adding to the burden of keeping the secret about the affair. 3. Only left Alex videos after she passed and nothing for her other children. 4. Forced her daughter out of a job and to do the list (which I know is the premise of the movie). Then there's Alex: 1.I still do not understand Alex pushing her father away if he was a good dad nor get why she doesn't remember their relationship. 2. Cheated on her boyfriend and worse did not know her friend Brad had broken up with his girlfriend who was also doing her a huge favour and was a friend, showing no remorse. But got mad at Brad for not telling her....so you're more mad about not having a relationship update than betraying a friend and cheating on your partner? 3. So self centered it stunned me that she never considered anyone else's feelings. Not her brothers and the fact she never realized the impact the relationship she had with their mum had on the rest of the family till she was told point blank. Again pushing her Dad away and not being considerate of what he's had to carry, the movie doesn't even allow them a reconciliation or explain what the issue truly was. Sounds ridiculous but can't drive properly then put herself at risk and others by texting whilst driving and got into an accident. A teacher to under privileged children but took no time before handing out discipline to read their files and worse didn't listen to the advice that followed causing more issues. So many more examples it's tiring.

Reluctantly watched this it's predictable, ridiculous and boring.

Great movie all the way up until the end because for some odd reason the movie ends without revealing the secret that led to so much carnage which makes absolutely no sense.
