Loved it, need to take it over a few episodes, Peter jackson has made something timeless and rather good and a actually watchable 8 hours. Critics have said its just for die hard fans at that length, but Beatles music like much of that era keeps being generationally recycled and I think it will stand at the side of it for all those future fans as well as present ones.
For me what stands out is that for years the narratives of the breakdown focused on disruptive behaviour of particular individuals and that doesn't really hold up on this evidence, They fall out and you can see that its time to move on but they have a fantastic vibe together here as well, Paul and Yoko's reputations are somewhat resurrected for me but not at the expense of the others.
