A total perversion of the historical 47 Ronin story. With strange costumes that were not Japanese, but some kind of mix of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean dress from different ages. You just can’t take well known pieces from other people’s cultures and use them however, and think that people of the cultures won’t notice. Westerners may not notice, but Asians will surely be offended. This movie was offensive. “Well, they all look alike don’t they?” I was waiting for “Ming the Merciless” to make an appearance.
