I would give 3 stars because it was a bit boring. But I gave 1 star for blackwashing.

Contains spoilers. I am watching it right now. I am 1 h in and literally nothing happened so far. Only three guys went on a date with three girls. What a fantastic story... And what a nonsense mushu trying to interfere with Mulan's relationship. So far it's a waste of time. Edit: Just finish watching it. The only characters who were willing to sacrifice for others were Mulan and Mushu. Mulan was willing to sacrifice for China and three princes, while Mushu sacrificed for Mulan by giving everything away. Movie gives very bad message to people by saying that it doesn't matter what is going on in a world, even if your country and its people are threatened by war, you just need to follow your heart. It doesn't matter that you secrifice the whole country for yourself. What matters the most is that you are happy. What a selfish message. Yes arranged marriages are terrible but sometimes greater good requires great secrifice. But I get it. My happiness should be more important to me and I can reach it even over dead people's bodies. Thank you for teaching it Disney.
