After 100 hours played I can safely say the reviewers got this game completely wrong, it is an amazing game and one of the best games of 2019. If you like tactical shooters or Wildlands you should get this game, you are missing out especially if you can pick it up for only £20-25 but even at full price it’s worth it. I do wonder if most professional reviewers actually played the game much or just copied other reviews. Pros: • Huge map and so much to do even after 100 hours I had not done everything • Amazing graphics • Largely bug free, I did start playing 2 months after launch • Drones add variety • Gun play feels great, no bullet sponges apart from drones • Turing off guided mode makes the game not a pointless run from point A to B • Huge variety of guns to use and discover • Co-op is really fun although I played the majority solo and it worked well • No AI team mates, they were really annoying in Wildlands • The terminator DLC was fun • Faction missions give you even more to do • Loads of different vehicles to collect and try out • Stealth gameplay works well and much better than Wildlands • The game continues to be well supported by Ubisoft despite poor sales from people being put off by the dodgy reviews • Its just really fun to play which is by far the most important point! Cons: • Most regions of the map feel similar its basically snowy mountains or jungle • Story is not particularly great but I don’t play games for a story despite many reviewers thinking this is key. Maybe they wish they were reviewing novels or movies! • The gear system doesn’t really fit the game and is a bit pointless but didn’t stop me enjoying the game • AI can be stupid in certain situations but this has been improved with updates • Behemoth drone fights are long and tedious • Too easy on regular difficulty but a decent challenge at advanced or extreme without being too hard • Mission variety could be better • There are micro transactions apparently but I couldn’t care less, not even sure where the are in the game or how you use them, certainly didn’t impact my enjoyment of the game at all as I never even saw them!
