Absolutely love this show! So well written and the characters are so dysfunction yet lovable.

The colourism, caste system, and sexism isn't worthy of a "fun" documentary in 2020, this should have been shown with a serious light. Further more, this was not a representation of "Indian matchmaking" but privileged north Indians. I would have loved to have learnt about the entire country, with different religions and different cultures.

I really tried to like it, mostly because I love Tia, although I agree the acting seemed forced, and the weave is ridiculously distracting! but they lost me at "alsalam alykum" only for the eldest to "accidentally" repeat "alsalam a bacon". For a minority that already struggles so much with representation, and negative stereotypes I was so disappointed that the little spot light that was given was turned into a low-key rude joke.
