Being a lifelong Terry Pratchett fan, mainly discworld I was a bit sceptical about this. My sister (also a lifelong Terry Pratchett fan) didn't get into it. But I decided to give it a go and I'm glad I did. The 1st book, long earth, was brilliant. Reading it you can feel the parts Terry Pratchett had written or had heavy influence in. His style is unmistakable. I started to read it and couldn't put it down. I am just about to start the 2nd book, The long war. Highly recommended.
