The only real thing about it that I liked was all the parent child conflicts. It was unnecessarily dragged. Had more songs than the sound of music. Kerry Washington's facial expressions got on my nerves. And the close-ups were too long. The best thing about Kerry in scandal was her strong dialogue delivery not her expressions. The plot was not set up very well. It's like they tried to cross a thriller with a family show and mix a little of teen dramas. Speaking of family show, the so called sex seems were really bad. And lastly the plot. They tried to make the characters all grey which I appreciate, but the inclusivity and unreal depiction of the racial issues, just makes it feel that the plot could be so much better. I think it should have been edited to 6 episodes if not 4 episodes
