I love this show. The fact that it is grounded in real-world issues such as discrimination isn’t a new thing for this kind of media, but what’s rare is a show that can pull it off without being overly preachy. The characters are very in-depth, the sound design is good, a very balanced and fun anime. One complaint I have is that it almost seems rushed. There’s no drawbacks to most of the main characters’ abilities. A couple of them can change shape to fit their problem, one of them is immortal. I don’t think that writers took the time to completely flesh out these characters when it comes to how far these abilities can go. Also, while the tracks throughout the anime are very good, I wish there was more diversity and also more songs in general. Overall, great anime, hoping for a season 2
