A good show for people who like to read murder mysteries and really think about the clues presented. It requires more thought than lots of viewers may like, which is understandable. And the jokes are subtle and very hard to catch, so it’s not a laugh-out-loud type comedy but it definitely is funny. The murder mystery aspect of it is great as the writers do a great job at tying each episode together. There are some intense cryptic supplemental clues in the background that help tell you who’s “not the killer”. You can definitely solve who the killer is before the last episode if you pay close attention (in both seasons). Each episode retells the same night over and over again, but from the perspective of a different suspect. And each suspect retells the night from a movie-genre that matches their memory of the night (romcom, thriller, detective, heist, musical, etc). The goal is to look for inconsistencies in the stories told and figure out who is lying and what their motive is. I really enjoyed both seasons. If you find the hidden clues, by episode 3 it is clear who the killer is in season 1, and by episode 8 it is clear who the killer is in season 2. Good luck!

100% unpredictable and a great slasher movie. Gives vibes of some of the greatest early slashers (Halloween, Black Christmas, Psycho, Silence of the Lambs, etc) that rely on scary story telling and psychological thrills more than blood and gore. If you’re looking for a cheesy, spooky doll movie, this ain’t it. Chucky and Annabelle already perfected that roll, and we don’t need more of that. If you’re looking for blood and gore, also not your movie. Plenty of splatter movies out there. But if you’re looking for a psychological twist, this is your movie. I really rank it among the greats, even with its slow beginning. This is one of the very few modern slasher movies that gives you originality and chills after watching.
