Drama at its best. The actors are superb, the writing is spot on. I have worked in the system and this show is so true of the tragic life of most prisoners and the tragedy of prison life that helps no one.

No script, stupid story bad acting. Rituals every 5 minutes. Terrible weather, lots of shouting and Nichol Kidman never ages. It would have made a good comedy. I am sure I saw John Cleese in a wolf outfit.

One of the best tv series, it is up there with Deadwood, Sopranos, The Wire etc.
Epic story with great acting, cinemaphotography and locations. Highly recommended, it's violent but with much more to it than just violence.
